wow it´s almost over
so i have two and a half more weeks here in brazil, and i can´t believe that i´ve been here for 8 months. it sounds like such a long time when i say it or hear it, but it doesn´t seem like i´ve been here that long. so i´ve had soo many experiences here and seen a lot of things that it´s hard to recount them all. carnaval, ouro preto, belo horizante, dj tiesto, quinta vip, axe brasil, venezuela, manaus, rio, gordon´s last night, the amazon, the favela, and so much more. so many crazy stories from the past 8 months. most of all i´ll never forget what i´ve learned here during the past 8 months. i have such a new found appreciation for the education that i get in the US, the efficency of the government, no military check points, and actual police. but i have learned so much from the brazilians that i will also start to incorporate into my outlook on life. first of all fun is king. why should you toil in college and study something that you absolutely hate and not ever get to experience a frat party, clubs, bars and all of the other things that most college students do? if you don´t you really are missing out, because some of the best stories in life come out of those moments when you´re with your friends after leaving a club and walking to waffle house or whatever your destination maybe. most of all i will never forget the friends i have made while here my roommates: caique, wendy, danilo, and pedro; cowboi viado, matt, phillip, gordon, stephanie, laura, richelle, erika, tata, nana, carol, fernanda, eliara, aliene, oniti, andre, and soo many more. i´ve been on a bus for the past two days so my mental ability isn´t what it normally is. well almost back home.
